The modeling industry has its preferences for models. Typically, models are at least 5’7 and really thin. The garments are typically made for a taller model. While not all designers make only a certain set of garments, this is the standard.

Shorter models or “Petite Models” are models that are under 5’7. These models are typically 4’11-5’7, but they can be shorter.
